Met een buitendiameter van 1,7 mm tot 3,2 mm. Wanneer de bedrukte buis over een kabel wordt geplaatst en met een heteluchtpistool wordt verwarmd, krimpt de buis en grijpt de kabel stevig vast. Er is geen lijm nodig. Dit zorgt ervoor dat zelfs in warme omgevingen de krimpkous niet van de kabel loskomt.
